Great article, and an important question. I think you should also mention, however, that many rockets burn liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen as a primary propellant to produce … water. For example, NASA’s upcoming super-heavy lift Space Launch System has a first stage powered by hydrogen and oxygen. The Delta IV is a commonly-used rocket that also burns hydrogen and oxygen.
